We are completely stuck when it comes to adding an iSCSI volume to xcp-ng when being hosted on TrueNAS.

Previously, we've used legacy NetApp devices that have worked a treat - but now we've simply outgrown them and decided to jump over to TrueNAS, but have failed completely in getting any iSCSI volumes working.

Process-wise, we created a 20TiB zvol in TrueNAS SCALE, then completed the iSCSI configuration, setting portal groups, initiator groups, targets, extents, and associated the target LUNs.

Jumping into xcp-ng (either via Xen Orchestra, or via XCP-ng Center), we attempt to add the newly advertised iSCSI volume by entering the IP and port of the TrueNAS host. Scanning the IQN works, which then shows our LUN. However, we are unable to add it, receiving the following error:

"Device Mapper path missing [opterr=Device mapper path /dev/mapper/36589cfc000000126bb1f27268fd229c9 not found]"

No matter how many times we try, we cannot get past this and it's blocking us from migrating over to TrueNAS and off the NetApps's.

In XCP-ng Center, we also receive the error "Adapter ID is missing".

Any advice would be appreciated!
