Oh, and I can't even download a manual update file unless I go through a VPN. So I'm assuming some how ATT is to blame.

I also manually re-enabled "outbound Network" under global settings to "allow all" a couple of days again and it didn't work, but today I set "outbound network" to "Allow update" and it worked. Go figure???

Sorry, where is this option?

Found it, under networking options. I tweaked a bunch of stuff and now its working. What a weird bug...

Just tried the "allow update" and it still doesn't work for me. Not really sure what to do, and I'd prefer not to have to do manual updates every time.

For the 2nd time!
This is so crazy. I'm getting "TimeoutError(): Automatic update check failed." Again! I did an update to 23.10.2 and have not changed anything. Maddening!

Under Network/Interfaces should the Network interface IPv6 Hex number for eno1 be the exact same Hex number as the IPv6 under "Default Route"? Mine are different.

No idea why, but mine is suddenly working. Haven't changed anything. I have Allow all for outbound traffic. Still have an IPV6. So I have no idea why it's working now.
