Supermicro Board suddenly unstable / RMA?

Hi

i build a supermicro box out of these parts for a while back
SuperMicro Atom A1sri-2558f-0
kingston 32GB ECC
4x4TB seagate
16GB sandisk FIT thumb drive (os disk)

it was stored for a while in a dry place within a warm house.

tried to use it and it randomly freezes, tried differnet PSU, disk, ram - cant even update bios because the BIOS freezes - never experienced that before with supermicro?!? - there was a Freenas error message saying something about cpu - everytime i tried with a fresh install (thumb drive) random freezes even sudden shutdown. The cooling is up to standards as i use a supermicro 1u chassie-

anyone experienced sudden random carshes like this w/SM ?

If possible, can you provide more details on any error messages? Since you are having issues just trying to update the BIOS, I would suggest focusing on that first.

Check the BIOS itself, there may be Event Logs (or something similar) that may assist.

ahh man ...tried reading out error message that i get when i try a fresh install - can get past POST anymore! cheez, sorry - seems like a wast of time posting - its definitivly a RMA case.
