Strange behaviour when using FTP on FreeNas 8.3

Hi guys

I have set up a New server for FTP access. I set up 3 users, each with his own dataset and gave them access to datasets over FTP (port21)

Using FileZilla everything worked fine, connecting, uploading / downloading etc.

However, when I switched on Secure FTP (port22) and opened up appropriate port in Firewall, each user can see other users home directory as well as the file system itself.

Switching back to non Secure FTP over port 21 still worked fine - ie each user see's only HIS data. And again switching to FTPS (port22) everyone sees everything.

Where am I going wrong, considering non Secure FTP WORKS and Secure FTP appears to show too much data.

Version is 8.30 and server is reputable make; 2* 500GB Seagate disks (mirrored)

Andy,
Read page 205 of the users manual, I think you will find your answer there. It's just amazing what is in the users manual, stuff like instruction and how to configure SFTP. If this doesn't work, please post again with some more details.
