Hi i new to freenas and hope you understand if i am making a basic mistake

Running off a Dell T610
32gb ram
2x intel x5667
6x seagate 4tb ironwolf
LSI 9211-8i, IT flashed with current Firmware
im having performance issue since i started setting up my freenas serve. i did some test in hopes of fixing this problem before turning into the forum but here is the rundown of what is going on.
the system has slow read speed as much as a single drive perfomance around 170MB/s ish write speed is consistent at around 380/MBS
i tried tested using smaller pool with 1x 2x 4x 6x drives in stripe in 2 separate system with same result small increase in write speed until 4x and no read speed improvement
hope you guys can shed some light onto this one cause if the performance is like this i might sadly need to go back to hardware raid and windows
