I am looking for some advice.
I have a 105gb SSD that I am using as a datastore for Virtual Machines.
I have 3 zvols within the Datastore.
1. Was our original zvol for Ubuntu running MySQL 5.7.
2. Is a clone of the first that we are currently working off as 1 won't boot since we did an update.
3. Is a fresh install of Ubuntu with Mysql 8.
My problem now is that zvol 2 is full while 1 still has lots of space available. I tried to resize 1 but get a warning that it is not possible via the user interface and can lead
to data loss.
Can someone advise if it is safe to resize via CLI if there is still free space available? Or another way to get around the problem.
