Running 11.3-U2.1 (I believe this is the most recent stable version).

We have a relatively old (4-5 years) setup with two ESX 6.5 hosts (initially 5.5 then 6.0) and a freeNAS (initially 9.10 then regularly updated to the latest "stable2 build) based NFS store for the VM. This setup has worked very well over the past years ... up until today as we had for the first time since updating to 11.3 to reboot it from scratch.

For some reason, FreeNAS 11.3 will not anymore allow multiple mounts of the same NFS share. As far as I can tell the issue is to have the same NFS mount avaiablable to both ESX. I can have it on one or the other but not both

Again this unchanged setup has worked perfectly over the years and we have not touched anything. Obviously we are using NFS3 (as 4 was not an option back then).

I have managed to go around the issue by creating to different mounts but any idea of the root cause ? Is there a new setting in 11.3 I should be aware of ?
