Or would you guys recomended a server with 300-400 dollars budget?
The Dell PowerEdge T30 with a Xeon E3-1225v5, 8 GB ECC RAM, and a 1 TB hard drive will be $329 on Monday.

That's what he's doing.

I'm running this at home. You just need to add a proper HBA like the LSI 9210-8i (or cross flash a Dell H210). I only run one CPU to save power and can push 1.6GB/s (12gb/s) over fiber channel to my ESXi hosts (Dell C6100's). My typical power consumption is around 200 Watts. If I enable power save options in the BIOS I get down to 182 Watts. It's not great but it would cost more to rebuild than I would save.

I forgot to mention a few things. The LSI 9210-8i (or Dell version) fit in the "storage" PCIe slot and if the server comes with the factory SAS cables, the connectors line up perfectly. Also that server (R510) has 2 internal 2.5 bays perfect for boot drives or L2ARC/SLOG drives.

Used server gear is a perfectly valid way to do. To make useful suggestions, though, we'd need some information about what you're trying to accomplish, as you haven't provided any so far other than that you want a rack-mount FreeNAS box.
