Hi all,

I do have a question concerning the below security output. What does it exactly mean, do I have any lack on my NAS? I'm not sure what it mean.

Code:
freenas.local kernel log messages:
> CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240e Processor (2812.89-MHz K8-class CPU)
> Timecounter "TSC-low" frequency 1406447269 Hz quality 800
> WARNING: /data was not properly dismounted
> epair0a: Ethernet address: 02:48:37:00:0c:0a
> epair0b: Ethernet address: 02:48:37:00:0d:0b
> epair1a: Ethernet address: 02:41:68:00:0d:0a
> epair1b: Ethernet address: 02:41:68:00:0e:0b
> epair2a: Ethernet address: 02:c7:2e:00:0e:0a
> epair2b: Ethernet address: 02:c7:2e:00:0f:0b

-- End of security output --

I was in doubt about:

> Timecounter "TSC-low" frequency 1406447269 Hz quality 800

What us wrong with ^^ seems fine to me..

The "/data" message concerned me.. As dlavigne pointed out appears to be an unclean shutdown.. This is probably bad.. Was it a onetime thing or every boot cycle? If it's every boot cycle and the USB doesn't cleanly shutdown could end up bricking the USB setup or worse..
