SAMBA Share that was working no longer working

Not sure if here or permissions is the right spot. But here's what was working prior to 11.1 U3...

[FreeHome]

comment = Home directory

path = /mnt/zVol01/%U

public = no

writable = yes

valid users = kdb dhemmert source mebsaddle dario marta

nt acl support = yes

force group = wheel

create mask = 0700

directory mask = 0700


What happens now is that I can not browse into any of the directories unless I set permissions on the FreeNAS side to 770... I have been messing with this for the last day. I think the new samba server on U3 does not pickup that these users are in group wheel or does not realize who the user is?

Set the following auxiliary parameter under services->smb private dir = /var/db/samba4/private

Did not work.

My SMB shares also broke after the 11.1-U3 update as in I couldn't access them at all through Windows or Linux. It doesn't make any sense to me, but I "changed" the FreeNAS user's password using the same password and I was able to access them again.
