Rolling the time back on an access point, why??

Hello everyone, I was wondering if you could answer, in general, what could possibly motivate one to roll the time back on their access point?

And, specifically, a Linksys dual band wireless range extender, why would one want to occasionally roll back it's date/time?

Or is this a an error rather than a notification?
