SOLVED restore degraded zpool

so.. i wanted to try the whole integrity. i removed one drive.. waited a few minutes unti it got into degraded... and i put it back. it stayed degraded... i was hoping for auto reconstruction..
anyways how do i fix it? the volume name is chenbro. it consists of 12 drives arranged on a dual 6zf2 array.
i tried zpool online chenbro da8 but it says that i need to replace the disk..

As you discovered, ZFS doesn't like it when you don't offline the disk first as described in http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Volumes#Replacing_a_Failed_Drive_or_SSD. What is the current status of Storage → Volumes → View Volumes → Volume Status?

I rebooted.. Everything is healthy lol.
