Reporting -> Network: What are these interfaces?

Hi, everyone i'm using FreeNAS since some months, i have understand a lot and i have to know a lot of other things...
When i'm watch the network reporting graph i can't understand what these are!

Interface:
  • epair0a
  • epairla:
  • bridge0:
  • re0:
The last one (re0) is the only that i can understand, TX is the upload (outcoming transfert) TO THE INTERNET, and RX is the download (incoming transfert) FROM THE INTERNET. Anyone one can help me?

epair devices are jail virtual interfaces, and the bridge is what connects them to your physical interface.

And I hope that your re0 isn't actually directly connected to the internet. You meant Local Area Network, right? :smile:

Uhmmm i Have 2 epair because i Have 2 jails? It's working! I'm going to analyze if it's true in The next days!

I'll verify it too!
