Hi,
I created a backup server and I'm replicating 21.3 TiB. The source dataset is not compressed. The destination dataset (by mistake) was set as compressed. So far 5.3 TiB have been replicated and the compression ration is 1.01 -- which is expected given that these are video files.
Question 1: How does that work given that the replication is by block? Is the block size variable?
I just changed the destination pool/dataset to be non-compressed. To my surprise it took the change.
Question 2: Is the dataset gonna be 1/2 compressed and 1/2 uncompressed?
Thanks!
