I kinda screwed up and my mobo only supports 8GB of ram. Planning onaround 10TB of storage in the end. I Need more ram as I understand it. My question is, if I can get ahold of a ramdisk pci card, can I configure it to act as additional ram for my server? What other options do I have other than building a new expensive NAS?

Thx

Not really. Besides that, those RAMdisk PCI cards(I have one) are limited to SATA speeds. RAM is an order of magnitude faster so you really wouldn't be doing much to help.

You really just need to suck it up and get a new motherboard :(
