I received a daily security run output email today with the following:
CLIENTBACKUPNAS.ccs.local kernel log messages:
> ugen7.2: <Samsung> at usbus7
> umass0: <Samsung Flash Drive FIT, class 0/0, rev 2.10/11.00, addr 2> on usbus7
> umass0: SCSI over Bulk-Only; quirks = 0x4000
> umass0:6:0:-1: Attached to scbus6
> da24 at umass-sim0 bus 0 scbus6 target 0 lun 0
> da24: <Samsung Flash Drive FIT 1100> Removable Direct Access SPC-4 SCSI device
> da24: Serial Number 0375416080007140
> da24: 40.000MB/s transfers
> da24: 30592MB (62652416 512 byte sectors)
> da24: quirks=0x2<NO_6_BYTE>
> GEOM: da24: the primary GPT table is corrupt or invalid.
> GEOM: da24: using the secondary instead -- recovery strongly advised.
-- End of security output --
The last line is of concern or a warning that can be ignored? If of concern how to I recover? This appears to be one of the 2 thumbdrives we have in the unit on the freenas-boot zpool and was recently added to replace a failed one (from another vendor).
I did a fdisk and all looks well from what I can tell
Furthermore if I do a gpart status on da24 it returns ok
So now I am totally confused...
Thoughts?
