This will be my first FreeNAS build (and first post). I've been trolling the docs and forum, but would appreciate your insights on my hardware list before I order.

My Ranked Goals:
Read Speed: I do a fair amount of video editing, along with streaming video. It would be great (but not essential) if I could play-back BluRay rips straight from the NAS over GigE. It's mainly one or two users at a time, mostly reads.
Budget: This is for home use, so I should keep an eye on the budget. That's why I avoided WD Reds, and I'm trying/hoping to get by on the MB SATA controller. I'd have dropped to sata 3gbs if it saved me any money.
Capacity: I'd like to have at least 9gig to start. I plan to upgrade later -- unRAID might have been better in this regard, were it not for my performance concerns.
Write Speed: I don't want it to be sluggish, but I can tolerate some compromise here.
Power Consumption: No sense in wasting energy if I don't have to.

Key Questions:
SATA Controller: Will the onboard be sufficient? If not, do I need one controller for all, or can I combine multiples cards into one set -- this is out of my element; suggested reading?
CPU: Seems overkill, right? Alternatives for CPU and motherboard (and SATA, etc. as needed)?
Capacity: Is this calculator roughly reliable? I used it to gauge the impacts of re-purposing my existing drives into the array, as a way to upgrade disks later (swapping one at a time). http://www.z-a-recovery.com/art-raid-estimator.htm

Here's the full list: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=19834165

In Summary:
Motherboard: MSI A75A-G35 FM1 AMD A75 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130615
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103951
SATA: hoping to use on-board controller.
RAM: 16 gigs, per ZFS recommendations. RAM is cheap right now. Is it just me, or are there not 2x16 chips to match the boards that support 32gig?
Drives: 4 x WD Green 3TB. 6gb/sec, only because 3gb/sec drives and motherboards weren't really any cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026
PSU: Corsair 430W. Seems overkill, but I want quality power, so I'm hoping it can scale-down it's energy use.

Thanks for your thoughts.
