Hey guys,

I'm a 2yr user (very novice still so be nice haha) So, on Saturday, I was moving a few things around, and knocked the surge protector off the wall (no UPS) and my server (11.3 u4.1) turned off, I plugged everything back in, and couldn't get anything to start up, so reinstalled FreeNas on my SSD drive, and I was able to get back into FreeNas, but I lost my pool.

When I boot up, I get something that says GEOM ADA1 - Corrupt or invalid GPT Detected - GPT Rejected - may not be recoverable

I tried to do a few things, couldn't get the pool to load, actually pulled all the drives and quickly built another server box thinking something with the sata connections (motherboard) might have fried.

When i log into the webgui, I see my 3x 4TB drives, but I try to import the pool, it is blank, and I went into gpart status, and it shows my boot drive SSD and 1 of my 4TB drives. But if I go into disks in the webgui, the drives all show and show as being healthy.

I've included some screen shots, PLEASE help me.

Check to ensure that your drives are being detected in your BIOS or hardware level first.

Next, see if they are visible in geom disk list

From there, check if they're seen by smartctl -a /dev/adaX and if it's throwing any horrible looking warnings.

I think you may be in the right area in having seen this as at least part of the problem

if you do dmesg | grep Corrupt what do you see?

If it's only ada1, maybe excluding that disk and having a shot at importing the pool might be a way forward... if that gets you to an imported (but degraded) pool, you can wipe and resilver ada1 back in.

If not, or if your pool had no redundancy (in which case, welcome to your very harsh lesson in potential data loss), you may be able to dig up a thread which talks about using the partition headers from one of the other disks to replace the corrupt one(s), but I feel like that's a topic a bit too far advanced to link to right now unless there are no options left.

So I did the dmesg and it didn't do anything.
