[Owncloud] Permission problems

Im having a weird permission error:
My data lives in /mnt/data/media. It is 770 media:media
i have added the www user to my media group.

I have it mounted storaged to my owncloud jail as /mnt/data/media -> /media/media
When i do an ls in the /media/media folder, it shows its subfolder (tv,music,movies), but those folders are empty.

When i mount the folders as /mnt/data/media/tv -> /media/tv , the contents show up fine.

Any idea why i can't just use /media/media?

are tv, music, and movies separate datasets?
if so, nullfs mountpoints (which is what freenas uses to mount storage to your jail) can't span datasets.

Bingo, i have all my folders in the /media/ as their own datasets (for no good reason).

So that would be the issue. Thanks!
