Hi.

Running the latest Freenas and all working fine. Now I need to setup the Owncloud jail in a way that it can be accesses from the internet. I know this is not what some of you recommend, but at this stage I have no real option. Here's the problem:

Owncloud jail's http port seems to be the standard 80. To prevent the easiest way of "knocking" on my measly firewall, I'd like to change the port to something more exotic, let's say 61234. I then open the port in fw and forward it to the Jail's IP. Easy. Unfortunately not, because I don't know how to change the http port of the jail. There's no nginx.conf (as there's in my web server running "virtually" in sand box). Other problem is that my measly fw only forwards the same port number, so I cannot set it like external port 61234 -> 10.0.0.1:80. How can I change the port of the Owncloud jail?

Thanks as always :)

Install it from source or from packages, following one of the guides here, and you'll know where nginx.conf (or httpd.conf) is. And they'll probably even cover how to add SSL support, which you'd really want.

This means, as I have installed it as a standard jail, there's no way to change the port? Or does installing it from packages mean installing as a standard jail? Sorry, I really don't know.

No, if you've installed it in a standard jail, you've used either source or packages. I thought I saw in your OP that you'd used the plugin, but as I review it I don't see that now. So, yes, you do have either an nginx.conf or an httpd.conf in the jail.
