So I've already tried to Google for this but I can't find anything related to this.
First, let me describe my setup:

FreeNAS 11.3-U3.2 Box -> pfSense router (OpenVPN SERVER)

I have an Ubuntu PC running as a NAS (already running OpenVPN Client) that I want to replace with my FreeNAS box but I can't find how to setup the CLIENT version and load my config file to it.

I already read the OVPN article on how to set up OpenVPN on FreeNAS (this) but seems to me a bit outdated. I'm aware that FreeNAS has the OpenVPN plugin but I see only the Server version of it.

Is this doable? I'm doing this for my home lab to learn, it's not mission critical but I want to try and understand if it's possible to achieve what I'm thinking.

What you're looking for is there in the TrueNAS Core (FreeNAS 12) pre-release builds.

It may be a question of waiting for that or trying to work out how to do it yourself on FreeNAS 11.
