pool: freenas-boot
state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data
corruption. Applications may be affected.
action: Restore the file in question if possible. Otherwise restore the
entire pool from backup.
see: http://illumos.org/msg/ZFS-8000-8A

1.82G scanned out of 11.0G at 3.95M/s, 0h39m to go
0 repaired, 16.53% done
config:

NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
freenas-boot ONLINE 0 0 0
gptid/e09de723-a349-11e4-aaf8-40167e28e436 ONLINE 0 0 0

errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:

I have start an scrub for check if is possible to repaired but....i think is not good.

The good point is this pool is the USB key boot system, is not my DATA pool.

So i dont know what do you do...any help for that ?

Thanks,

This question has been asked and answered many times in this forum.
Your USB device that contains the operating system is going into failure.
Save a copy of your system configuration settings to another computer
and replace the USB drive.

The documentation should be of more detailed help.

Only if you install FreeNAS 11 on a new flash drive and restore your configuration.

Since we don't know what version of FreeNAS you are currently using, you might want to reload the same version you are running now.

Now i'm running FreeNAS-Corral-10.0.4

So i need new flash drive and reinstall this version FreeNAS-Corral-10.0.4.
For configuration, i need to download it after change the key ?

After that i update to 11 ?

Thanks

To fix the current issue, save your configuration. I don't know how to do it with Corral. Search the forums - there is little documentation for Corral, especially now that it's dead.

After you reinstall Corral, restore the configuration you saved earlier. Hopefully you don't have an encrypted pool. That adds more complexity.

There isn't a direct upgrade from Corral to 11. You'll need to study the migration guide - https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...ng-from-freenas-corral-to-freenas-9-10-11.36/

For future questions, please supply detailed hardware information and FreeNAS version.

1. Offline your 4 disks in Corral. I only had Corral running on a test machine for few hours and I don't know precisely how to do that. Perhaps someone else here who had more time with Corral will be able to make a comment. Actually, it may not even really be necessary to offline them, I suspect, but it's likely safest to do so.
2. Download the 9.10.2 iso from http://download.freenas.org/9.10/latest/x64/ and install it to CD or USB. Boot from it and install 9.10.2 to USB. Boot FreeNAS from it and let your data drives be imported. Reload your 9.10 configuration. All this is a similar process to the Corral reinstall you have just completed.
3. From the System Update tab, choose the 11-Stable train and make the update to the latest version of 11 (11.0-U1).
4. Configure your new installation.
Perhaps with this information the guide at https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...ng-from-freenas-corral-to-freenas-9-10-11.36/ will be a little easier for you to follow.
