Another one of my controllers, an LSI 9750 to which I have some drives that are reporting around 40,000 hours, recently reported a warning. One of my drives has been failing ECC about 5 times in the last 3 months (errors which the controller then repaired). Does that mean it may be starting to fail? Not exactly sure how to perform a SMART check on the LSI 9750, I'm assuming it does that itself.
