Hello Team
I want to share my future TrueNAS Server with you and make you few questions about this
I have currently a Dell R740 with
2x Xeon 4208 Silver 8 Cores
1 TB of DDR4 running at 2400 MHz due processor limitations
6x Samsung 980 Pro 1.82 TB
2x Evo 860 for installing TrueNAS
2x 10Gb SFP+ ports for redundnacy
2x 40Gb QSFP Ports for Main Access
Currently I am running My VMs on Local SSD (RAID 50 of 6 SATA SSD) (Have another 3 dual Xeon Platinum servers for VMs) but i want to deliver more performance and get out everything from the servers in case any Hardware Failure be able to move the VMs to another Server
I want to create a NVME Pool, my target is to get at least 14 drivers working but now 6 is what I have with me
What do you do for “Tune” the NVME Pool, what do you think is the best way to use all this performance
What more do you think I can do for deliver more speed/performance to my VMs, 2 of them are very Intensive with General Performance due they are SAP systems
Thanks in advance
