Hello!
Is it possible to alter my NVidia GeForce GT250 fan speed in FreeNAS?

I'm a new user, and have built a system with the above gfx card, but it's very loud as it's running full speed fan.
When I boot into a different partition with windows on it, the fan is reduced to a low speed which is barely audible.

I'd like to be able to do the same when booted into FreeNAS if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm quite an advanced linux user, but not so much on the freeBSD side.

TIA,
Mark

just grab the nvidia drives or remove the card. (srly why does a NAS need a graphic card?)

good point. i haven't used this box with just its on board gfx card, it was an ex-dev machine of ours, and i never thought to just remove it.
i suppose i was after the beginner's guide to manipulating the gfx card in freenas/freebsd.
