ROFL, Could be worse I run a 55" 4k Screen as a monitor. 1920X1080 resolution for desktop but I also sit about 6 feet from the screen.

I use an older version of this Acer model running Debian for travel https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-...=1517621037&sr=1-4&keywords=acer+11.6+pentium

Over time I added 8 GB RAM, 256 GB 2.5" SSD and an AC card. Mine has no touch screen. It is a TravelMate B115 series. If you can find an external monitor/keyboard while you are traveling, it is pretty good.

This current B117 model has a Celeron for $186, is more like mine https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Travelm...01BBXPNYM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 there was more selection in Europe from Acer in this lowcost range. Looks like a pretty lowgrade (academic) Windows license which you don't need. But you need to check if the RAM/SSD/wifi is upgradeable--mine was.

Ignore the reviews: the stock specification is indeed useless--it all depends on the upgrades.

Acer is popular in Germany for some reason, they offer a bigger range there. This posting suggests the RAM is soldered but the SSD may be upgradeable in at least some B117 series, perhaps with an M2 SSD (used Google Translate): https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/520928/acer-travelmate-b117-upgrades-ram-hdd-etc
