Dear forum users,
Running on: FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE-201604111739 (896cc83)

Since a few day's i have problems with installing plugins. I am tottaly new to FreeNAS so don't know everyting how to do it. Got my system 2 weeks now. At the begin everything was installing good, but now i cant even install other plugins (the page plugin is loading really slow)

Apr 30 07:42:26 FreeNAS manage.py: [plugins.utils:91] Kon http://192.168.178.11/plugins/plexmediaserver/5/_s/status niet ophalen: No JSON object could be decoded

I have already installed":

Transmission 2.92
2
Couchpotato
3
Sabnzbd 1.0.1
4
Sickrage <- want to delete this one later for Sickbeard.

Is this a kind of bug? or is it my system?

Specs:
SUPERMICRO X10SL7-F
Crusial ECC 32GB
WD RED 4TB 8X
Intel Xeon E3-1231V3

It's your system, you modified something that shouldn't have been changed. I'm not sure what it was that you did though.

I made a change in all the ip-adresses and i think since that its going nuts

Does updating to the latest SU fix it?

Gonna try it now :) will update later my post if its still exists or not.

Edit: 17:16
After update, it is still the same.

Make sure your default gateway is correct in your settings.

i think my best option what i can do is reinstall freenas on a clean usb, and start from the beginning and import my zpool so i cant lose the data what is on the server already.
I will use my second usb freenas as backup if something goes wrong :) so i have still the old installation.

Ok, i did a fresh install. First i had problems to get my pool back, so after some struggling i have my data back.
So i installed some plugins again and it is working.

The only thing what i still have is when i want to the installed plugin pages it takes so long to load.

I have a possibly similar problem since updating to FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE-201604261518 (881b70d) a couple of days ago. I get the following showing up in my logs:

Code:
Apr 30 16:00:19 starbug manage.py: [freeadmin.navtree:576] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.1.21/plugins/transmission/4/_s/treemenu: ('timed out',)
Apr 30 16:00:19 starbug manage.py: [freeadmin.navtree:576] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.1.21/plugins/couchpotato/7/_s/treemenu: ('timed out',)
Apr 30 16:02:50 starbug manage.py: [plugins.utils:91] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.1.21/plugins/transmission/4/_s/status: No JSON object could be decoded
Apr 30 16:02:50 starbug manage.py: [plugins.utils:91] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.1.21/plugins/couchpotato/7/_s/status: No JSON object could be decoded

A consequence of this is that the navtree is slow to load, as is the list of installed plugins. The only thing these two plugins share in common, as far as I can see, is that though their jails are running the plugins themselves are not. None of my other plugins, which have both jails and services running, display these error messages.

It make uno difference whether the webGUI is running HTTPS only or HTTP only: I get the same log messages.

for me, I solved the problem by deleting the transmission and subsonic jails. I reinstalled the transmission plugin and the problem arose again. Have since deleted it again and have no more issues.

I too am having this problem, I am tired of firefly being so old, we need to switch to forked-daapd, so I thought I would try subsonic.

Now I have this repeatedly in my logs

Code:
Nov 3 21:13:45 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:91] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.0.55/plugins/subsonic/11/_s/status: No JSON object could be decoded
Nov 3 21:20:28 freenas manage.py: [freeadmin.navtree:577] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.0.55/plugins/subsonic/11/_s/treemenu: timed out

The gateway is correct and all other Jails and PBIs are working.

I'm on:
Code:
freenas:~ benc$ uname -a

FreeBSD freenas.local 10.3-STABLE FreeBSD 10.3-STABLE #0 r295946+0ea9076(9.10-STABLE): Mon Oct 3 06:51:23 UTC 2016 root@gauntlet:/freenas-9.10-releng/_BE/objs/freenas-9.10-releng/_BE/os/sys/FreeNAS.amd64 amd64

Which the GUI reports as "FreeNAS-9.10.1-U2 (f045a8b)"; 9.10-Stable train.

Has anyone resolved this?

I still have this problem and NO ONE seems to be able to provide me a solution.

What does your jails -> configuration page look like? What are the jail settings?
