Hey all, my name is Eddie. My online presence is Keytones. I just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone. I have been using truenas to learn for about 2 months now, and i finally setup my home storage server for my Youtube and Twitch videos. So far, i've had a few problems but nothing I'm not able to figure out with a bit of research.
I just picked me up a Lenovo ThinkServer RD640 with 2x CPU Intel E5-2670 v2 @ 2.50GHz and 128 GiB of memory. Which Truenas loves lol. I am rocking 6 *4TiB NAS rated hard drives with 2 intel 100 Gig SSD to run truenas and mirror itself to. Im running in a raidz1 configuration with a 1Gbit port. Im setup pretty decently for what I need. I've made some mistake, rebuilt my pool about 500 times because I crashed it, but I finally got a deployable setup hosting all 12GB of my files from my iphone, twitch streams, youtube uploads, my moms iphone pics and my kids pics from their phones all sync to it.
