new build Intel S3420GP

Hello guys. I am in the process of setting up my first build and for the life of me cannot proceed pass the message below. I have updated bios to latest version. Disabled ACHI. No way to disable uefi or secure boot on this board.
Any thoughts?
specs are:
Intel S3420GP
16gb ddr3
4x 1tb drives

Try re-enabling AHCI. Does the system display your drives at boot-up time?

Drives are all detected and present in bios. I re-enabled AHCI and slightly different message.
any ideas?
