Good Morning,

New to FreeNAS and I have looked at the documentation and I am looking to move the newly created OS from one USB stick to another

Backup your configuration using the GUI and do a fresh install of FN to the other USB stick. Afterwards, just restore your configuration to it.

Is it possible to go from a HDD to a USB?
I was thinking seeing as I had installed Freenas on a single older drive to test with.. just days before our Windows SBS crashed (yes I am the luckiest guy on earth) I would like to have a USB drive standing by incase of a crash

Yes.. backup your config file, install FreeNAS on USB, restore your config file.

Easy as pie.

Hint: The procedure is virtually the same if your FreeNAS boot device fails.
