Hello,

I just configured an external USB HDD for my replication task to backup my data out of the Server. All my ZFS pools are encrypted.

Now I want to check the backup on my Linux Mint PC. Also for desaster recovery purposes (e.g. FreeNAS System is stolen). But I stuck at mounting it. Can someone advice me how to do that? Is it at all possible?

Thanks a lot!

I don't think this is possible as the current encryption method is geli which is FreeBSD-specific.

I don't think, too. That was what I found. But sometimes there are methods to mount other filesystems. If I find a solution I'll post it. Thanks a lot four your thoughts!
