Mellanox 10gb ethernet cards, do they work or not

i've read conflicting stories that the mellanox 10GBe ethernet cards work, and then others that the infiniband cards don't work.

Mellanox's website doesnt work right for me so finding anything there is a major pain in the ass.

The card I have laying around is: Mellanox ConnectX-2 EN

It has two SFP+ ports on it.

x3 right now does not work with fn 9.3. so x2 will be the same. see the bug file above.
