Marvell 88SE6440 Controller

My system has 2 controllers: intel ICH10 and Marvell 88SE6440 controllers. The Marvell one has 3 2TB SATA disk attached; however, it seems that FreeNAS doesn't see any of one from Marvell; it does see the disk connected through ICH though. does FreeNAS kernel support the marvell controller?

I remember it was an issue in linux several years ago until mv_stat and later mvsas driver to cover this controller. Is this related or there is some other issue I missed?

I'm not seeing that model in the HCL: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/9.2R/hardware.html#support. You could create a feature request for that driver at https://bugs.freenas.org/projects/freenas.

Unfortunately Marvell SAS HBAs are not supported by FreeBSD now.
