iscsi with vmware

I have freenas 8.3
I have configured iscsi and attempted to connect to using using my MAC and the connection was successful. When I attempt to connect to it using vmware esxi 5. I put the IP address in the auto discovery and it picks up the static discovery correctly, but when it scans It can not find any devices.

Please help.

Not much to go on.

Do you have your FreeNAS showing its log? (System -> Settings -> Advanced -> Show console messsages in footer)

What's the ESXi saying in its log? Log in and do a "tail -f /var/log/messages" while it is rescanning.

Connecting an iSCSI initiator is easy and works well in FreeNAS but you need to get all the details right.
