iSCSI over second NIC

Hi,

I run Freenas as VM on ESXi. All disks and controlers are in passthrough to Freenas.
Everything works fine. SMB, AFP, etc.
Now I want to configure an iSCSI target on the second virtual NIC to separate LAN and iSCSI. I don't use vlans,, but have 2 NICs and 2 switches.
Network works fine on both NIC.

My question is how to configure Freenas as iSCSI target on second NIC to visible to other VMs.

Basicly main question is how to configure iSCSI target on Freenas. I am greenhorn

Hi Charlie,

Please check the documentation under section 13.2 for an iSCSI / Block configuration.

You will want to ensure that you configure a Portal only using your second NIC's IP address.
