Hi,

im having a wierd issue with my iSCSI Target on FreeNAS. im running XCP-ng and its been working for a good while but im having issues with all of my VM related to I/O Error i have destroyed the raidz1 and re-done the ISCSI Storage/File but the problem is still there. Any ideas? i need to get this sorted as im hosting my mail and web servers. When this happens the drives changes there noise but i have Zeroed the disks and ran a smart test but nothing i have also moved it over from the onboard SATA to my SAS Card and same deal. This happened two nights ago when there was a few files being dumped from one VM to the other. I have shared a 2.2TB iSCSI file.

Thanks.

Jack.

Update,

Two Drives were bad i replaced them with known good ones. Problem still was there then i destryoed the RAIDZ1 and did a full format with Zeroes ran a SMART test on all drives and not reported any errors. i also moved from a RAIDZ1 to a Mirror also changed iSCSI settings from File to Device wth Zvol will see how this goes.

The two drives i took out i ran Seagate Tools on and the one sounds like a sirren going off and the other failed on a full format will RMA it and get them replaced.
