Minio had a (now apparently deprecated as of February) gateway feature that allows it to run in a Gateway mode and offer an S3 interface to clients but still use the file system for its data store. Aka "NAS" mode.
This seems ideal in offering S3 as a means of connecting to TrueNAS' ZFS\POSIX storage while also offering the same data using the SMB and NFS services. Is that how the "S3 Service" works or is it running as a server and exclusively controlling the data in the dataset?
