Ever since upgrading to internet explorer 11, when I enter "shell" from GUI the "enter" button doesn't work.
For example I can type something like "zpool status" at the command line and hit enter and nothing happens. It seems the enter button is disabled. Does anybody knows how to fix this? TIA

I suggest using putty or a ssh client to do things on the cli. Your other option is to just not use internet explorer. That browser doesn't support most modern features of todays web.

Not exactly true.

In any case, the webshell is incredibly craptastic and mostly useless. No browser is going to change that fact.

Just for grins, try typing control-J or control-M.

Ctrl+J opens the download manager in many browsers, Ctrl+M mutes the current tab in Firefox (cool, I had no idea!) and opens the reading list in Edge.

I don't expect either of them to get correctly passed-through.

Challenge your expectations! I did, after all, say "just for grins". ;-)

That would imply using the webshell. That is way too dangerous for someone who only slept four and a half hours.

Heck with you. I only slept about four and a half hours.
