SOLVED Intel 1219V cannot be detected by FreeNAS 11.1-U6

Hello,

I am building a system with AsRock H310M-ITX/ac Unfortunately, its LAN Intel 1219V is not detected by FreeNAS 11.1-U6. I have seen some bug reports about several earlier models of same NIC back in FreeNAS 9 versions. I could find anything specifically for this model.

I read following at probe time:

Code:

pci1: <network, ethernet> at device 31.6 (no driver attached)

I wonder if there is a workaround. Or, should I file a bug report?

It seems support is added some time around FreeNAS 11.2-BETA2.
I could use the NIC just fine on FreeNAS 11.2-BETA3

That's weird. There shouldn't have been changes that would affect this in Beta3.

No problem on beta 3 for me.
