Hi,

i've a Freenas server on 9.2.1.5 version and i've connected my Freenas server on VMware by iSCSI.

So, i created extent and i've put 100GB of storage on the extent and had this volume on an ESX.

But now, i want to increase the storage of the extent, 1000GB but on the ESX, without reload iSCSI service on Freenas, i can't see 1000GB, only 100GB ...

Do you know how i can see 1000GB without reload this service ?

thanks for your help,

Thomas

Nope, you must reload the service. :/

Not sure to be honest. 9.3 changes from the istgt iscsi service to the ctl (kernel mode). One of the things you will like is the fact that you can change things like iscsi size without having to restart the service. I don't know about the LUC though. That question hasn't come up in my discussions with the developers.
