Hello there,
today I assembled my new diy NAS with an MSI B560M Pro and an Intel Core i3 10100 and installed TrueNAS scale 22.02-RC2. The installation itself was fine, but when I booted for the first time my screen went black. With my DHCP server i could find out the IP address and so I was able to execute 'dmesg' on the webshell.
There I found the warning:
[ 9.969361] WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 804 at drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_pch.c:123 intel_pch_type+0x898/0x950 [i915]
and then the error:
[ 10.492236] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* crtc 51: Can't calculate constants, dotclock = 0!
What's happening here? I mean... The Intel i3 internal GPU is a very common GPU.
Is there something in the BIOS I could try? Or is it a bug in the kernel or module?
I'd love to work with TrueNAS but I necessarily need hardware acceleration for PLEX server.
Can you help?
Thank you
