Hi,
I would like to use HUS726T6TAL5204 SAS 512e drives in my backup box. I am planning to use RADZ2 or RAIDZ3 consisting of 6 disks. I think I should convert them to 4Kn (it is possible as per https://documents.westerndigital.co...ata-sheet-part-numbers-ultrastar-dc-hc310.pdf )
Is there any reason I should not?
If I convert them, does the drive count in a VDEV have any impact on performance? Of course having in mind it wont be more than 6.
EDIT:
I have H200. So no 4Kn support.
New question is then - does the drive count matter? Should I plan according to 4,6,8 and 5 and 7 drives rule for RAIDZ2 and RAIDZ3, respectively ?
