I am still new to TrueNAS and even newer to Server Hardware.
I have come across a (780022-S01) HPE DL360 G9 2x E5-2670 w/128gb ECC Ram and Dual 800w PS for under $200 and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on what kind of deal it is and thoughts on using it as a home server.
Currently only using all the arr/qbittorent apps installed along with pihole/traefik and cert-manager apps. Looking at getting Plex added and Home Assistant as well soon. I am using (2) mirrored 8tb drives and am looking at doubling very soon as well as adding a boot drive. I am only 25% full, but always planned on having around 12-15tb of useable space. Would like to run a couple vms as well.
Been using an old desktop while I trial the last few months. Seems to be going well and came across this and wanted to get input on if its worth it.
EDIT: I would look to add an 8-port LSI-92XX HBA
