Hey folks,

I am new to FreeNAS and exited about my journey - I've owned and run a Drobo FS, Synology 1512+, and various iterations of vSphere leveraging NAS/iSCSI - so it shouldn't have too many surprises... although I am not a storage guy at all, and I am also new to ZFS. So who knows. Glad this forum is here to help me along the way.

Welcome. Hope your experience is a positive one with FreeNAS. Please remember that if you have some issue with the software, our forum rules list some data we would like you to provide in order to help us help you. You might be surprised but at times we do get requests for help that are basically "I have a problem, please help me." but not much more. We would prefer just a bit more details of course.

Sounds like you are familiar enough with storage products so FreeNAS should be a piece of cake. Yum, cake, wish I had some right now. :)
