I have three shares, user 1 data, user 2 data, shared each user has multiple computers. I have setup 2 user accounts on freenas, user 1, user 2, both part of shared group, I want user 1 to have full access to user 1 data, but no access to user 2 data, and the reverse for user 2 and group shared has access to the shared folder. So when accessing on the windows system you need to use the users password to access the users folder and the shared folder.

Set windows permission type on all shares.

User 1 owns user 1 data
User 2 owns user 2 data

Shared folder is owned by user 1:shared.

Use windows explorer to remove 'everyone' ace from all shares and grant 'full control' of shared folder to group 'share'.

Use each user account to similarly fine-tune acls of users.
