I've got an old video card from a friend. Among other things I also run Plex on FreeNAS. I’ve heard that dedicated video card helps with transcoding, so I’m planning to put this video card into my FreeNAS and see if the transcoding will improve.
When I’ll put the video card into the serves, where to go, what to look for, what command to type in CLI to find out if the FreeNAS has been able to correctly detect the card? So that other application can use it – e.g. Plex.
It doesn’t matter what hardware I have, I’m interested in software part; what command to use (or where in the GUI) the card should be visible?
