i'm running the folding@home client in a linux bhyve VM. the VM is configured for 2 virtual cpus, 1024MB of memory, and uefi bootloader. i used this image as the installer. CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-1908.iso. this is running on freenas 11.2-u8.

i'm trying to connect the folding@home control app on my windows pc to the folding@home client running in the VM so i can remote manage it. the windows app is supposed to connect to the VM client through port 36330, but it won't. the VM client can also be controlled via telnet on port 36330. the VM has the ip address 192.168.1.243. i can ssh into the VM and telnet to localhost, 127.0.0.1, and 192.168.1.243 on port 36330. on my windows 10 laptop on the same network, i can ping the VM but i can't telnet to it on port 36330.

is there anything i need to do to open up port 36330 on the VM?
