What i'm thinking is :
An assortment of 16 Drives in total, totaling 22.5 TB
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB
Norco 4220 (it doesnt need to be Rackmount, if you guys know of a cheaper 20bay case, i'm all ears)
AMD Athlon 450
HighPoint RocketRAID 2720SGL
TP Link TG-3261
And finally the part I'm worried about, the motherboard
I have a choice between the:
ASRock 990FX Extreme4
ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX
and the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5
What I'm worried about is that the motherboards all have 2+ hard drive controllers, I'm worried that one of the SATA controllers isn't compatible with Freenas or that all of them cannot be turned on at the same time. Or are there just any problems in general with the setup, that you can see? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
