Hello to you all. I am fairly new to NAS , have used some off the shelf products for home users up to now (My Bookworld, Iomega Director) as my main use for NAS is home media storage and streaming. As I am time rich but money poor when I was looking to upgrade to a a sleeker faster solution than various drives dotted round the house I wound up here :)
My main issues I am looking to find a solution for are the many clients that potentially need streamed to (boxee box,xbmc, NeoTV, various tablets and phones) and maybe printer sharing.
I will be reading the FAQ's and guides and getting as far as I can on my own so will initially be kind of quiet, but once I have found my feet you'll hear a bit more from me.
Just like to add its nice to see a forum that still believes introductions are worthwhile (yes I am THAT old-school I still believe its important we "know" each other)
