Basicly the Hard disk sata controler failed. I had it formated in to volumes both volumes using 3 disk in zfs2. Total of 6 disks. I was woundering if I could just pull the drives and put them into another computer move the usb drive over and boot the freeNAS up and recover the volumes. The computer of course will be diffrent so the Hard disk controlers and motherboard and drivers will all be diffrent. Should I just move the drives over and install a new copy of freeNAS.

Right now work is down any help would be helpfull.

It should be possible to automatically import a ZFS volume on another FreeNAS install if all the disks are totally intact.
